Step by Step
Turning the Call Waiting Tone On and Off
You can suppress the call waiting tone (approx. every six seconds) for
external calls. A one-time special dial tone then alerts you to the wait-
ing call.
n Lift the handset.

w Enter code for "tone off" or "tone on".
Accepting a Specific Call for Your
Colleague
You hear another telephone ring.
n Lift the handset.
Enter the code.
o Enter the number of the telephone that is ringing.
Using Mailboxes
If there are messages waiting for you, you will hear a special dial tone
(continuous buzzing) when you lift the handset.
n w Lift the handset.
Enter the code.
This connects you to the sender of the message or the mailbox sys-
tem.
Using Timed Reminders
Precondition: You must have saved a timed reminder (Æ page 29).
The current time is the time stored.
n t Your telephone rings.
Lift the handset and replace it again.
Accepting calls in a team Æ page 47.
If you fail to answer the timed reminder, it repeats five times
and is then erased.
